To work from home or to work from the office, is no longer a question anymore. Because you have to work from home.
Just when people had started to accept that digital distancing is important and the need for real time face to face interaction is needed, we are now having to practice the reverse. Social distancing and digital interaction are the new norm now. The biggest irony of our times.
While there’s a lot already written about how to deal with work from home or tips to plan and prioritize your work and meet client deadlines, here’s a list of things to enjoy and make note of during your quarantine moments:
1. Take time off to organize your collection and wardrobe. Is there something you could donate or sell off?
2. Take time off to write what you are grateful for.
3. Take time off to make a budget and be mindful about where your money goes.
4. Take time to stop and think about the things that you got and didn’t really use. It will help you identify what you actually end up using.
5. Skip one or two new items from your shopping list. It’s not as bad as you think. You might realize later that you really never needed it. P.S: Mother nature will thank you later!
6. Don’t let social media make decisions for you. You are an adult. Share your opinion and not what others will like to read.
7. Take time off to keep track of all the money you are spending.
8. Take time off to make new recipes to cook at home and morning yoga and meditation sessions at home.
9. Take time off to indulge in DIY crafts, enjoy a sunset while sipping your favorite coffee/chai at home with your parents.
